About BRS

Three million people in this world still do not have access to financial services such as saving, credit or insurance. Microfinance and microinsurance organisations in developing countries offer a solution to this by developing services for "non-credit worthy" and "uninsurable" persons.

Mission

You can give an inhabitant of a developing country a fish to alleviate his hunger, or you can give him a fishing net and teach him how to fish.
Yet you can still go a step further: you can lend him money to buy a fishing net and teach him how to save. In that way, he is helped along in his development towards independence. More>
